Masters of Photography Project Reflection

The project shows that as a student of photography I still have a long way to go. In the beginning of the year I saw photography as just something fun to do, a hobby, throughout the year our class has been taught rules of photography, camera functions, how to properly use lighting and much more. We have also learned about famous photographers such as Dorothea Lange, and Robert Capa who have become famous thanks to all their hard work in pursuing their art.Working in a group allows us to check up on each other and make sure we are all on task and doing the assignment properly, however a downside is that we can occasionally be slowed down by other members of the group. I feel that for the project I should have surveyed more areas around the city to get better shots that could look more like Eugene Atget's and would have spent even more time editing them.
